In the article A Scoping Review of Registered Clinical Studies on Mild Traumatic Brain Injury and Concussion (2000 to 2019) published, 2020 by Furlan and Colleagues, The outcomes and key points are as noted: Many studies have been published between 2000 to 2019 that focus on diagnosis and non-pharmacological therapy for mild traumatic brain injury and concussion, amongst the studies, there were many definitions of mild traumatic brain injury/concussion, indicating a need for consensus definition. The authors noted 109 different definitions of mild traumatic brain injury and concussion. This was a Systematic review with 320 studies.
