Multimodal Interfaces of Human–Computer Interaction - Karpov 2018

"An analytical analysis of current and prospective intelligent human–computer interfaces is offered, from command text to graphics to intelligent uni- and multimodal interfaces based on the transfer of audio, visual, textual, and brain information. Multimodal user interfaces leverage numerous methods for automatic processing (recognition and synthesis) of user-inputted heterogeneous information. Combining computers with voice and multimodal interfaces for user-friendly information input/output develops universal information–communicative technologies, putting man at the forefront of computer interaction. Russian and international developments are briefly discussed."
