Neuroradiologic and Neuropathologic Findings With Growing Giant Intracranial Aneurysm. Review of the literature—Artmann 1984

We provide a detailed description of the neuroradiologic findings in a case of a developing big intracranial aneurysm that developed from a minor saccular aneurysm. Review of reports of expanding, massive aneurysms from the literature. The results of computed tomography and angiography are reported, and unique diagnostic challenges are examined. The findings of computed tomography and neuropathology are correlated, and the pathogenetic mechanisms behind aneurysm growth are explored.
