Humanistic Psychology and Contextual Behavioral Perspectives—Hayes 2019

Humanistic psychology has always opposed behavioral psychology, but the time has come to rethink their connection. Behavioral psychology is no longer restricted to animal-learning-based ideas. Behavioral and cognitive treatments address humanistic concerns and provide novel process descriptions. Reconsidering this connection might benefit both cultures.
